I have been working with Candidate Manager now for over seven years, and my position as Sales Director covers Ireland, the UK and North America. My role has two key aspects. Firstly to assist and mentor the New Business team in presenting and delivering our solutions to the highest quality across new and existing clients. Secondly to manage the Account Manager team, ensuring that all of our clients gain a significant Return-on-Investment.
What I particularly enjoy about working here is the exciting corporate culture that is present in Candidate Manager. Innovation and openness is very much encouraged.
My personal goals for the year are to make sure customers reap the full benefits of Candidate Manager and to continue to expand to our rapidly growing client base. I also want to ensure that both team and personal objectives are met for the coming year.
I began my career with Candidate Manager when the company was formed in 2003. Starting in the Technical Support and Development team, I progressed into the Business Development Team as a Business Analyst as the company grew. I am the person on the team that represents the business, and manages business requirements.
What I really enjoy about my role is the social element it entails. As well as working with people outside the business, my role involves liaising with the Sales, Marketing, Development & Testing and Senior Management teams.
One of the best aspects of the job is building a system of new features and seeing the project through until the end.
I have a marketing background, and having worked in Account Management positions in the IT sector as well as in the recruitment industry in the UK, I feel I am in an ideal position to advise and consult with our current clients on best practices.
I find my role exciting and challenging. I am working in developing new product offerings having worked closely with our existing clients to get an understanding of their processes and adoption of new technologies. I am always learning and developing in my role.
Candidate Manager is a progressive company, and I enjoy my involvement in defining the direction of the company. The company offers great support, particularly around the area of educational assistance which I feel is a great benefit.
