Job Details

We are currently seeking Senior Project Managers for our Saskatoon office. We have been awarded several EP and EPCM projects and we are actively recruiting Senior Project Managers to fill positions on these projects.

Responsibilities
- Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff;
- Manage a variety of cross discipline mid to large size mining or construction projects;
- Manage staff and subcontractors to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectations;
- Travel to international and domestic sites is required;
- Maintain project schedules and project cost summaries to track work progress, budget status, and manpower/equipment resource utilization;
- Approving proposed changes to contractor's schedules and ensuring the authorised alterations are included in the project implementation schedule;
- Authorise all commitments of expenditure on the project and approve payment of invoices;
- Strong track record of successfully completed projects;
- Excellent negotiating skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Requirements
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Mining, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering. Other professional qualifications will be considered coupled with relevant experience;

- Experience in the mining and mineral processing industry is required;
- Completion of a degree or diploma in project management will be an asset;
- Construction experience will be considered a definite asset;
- +10 years relevant experience as a Project Manager;
- Ability to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada is an asset;
- Must have experience with MS Project and Excel;
- Valid Passport (required for travel);
- First Aid and CPR training an asset.
