Our success includes assisting the junior mining industry move development projects forward from grassroots exploration, to prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management and ultimately, operations.

 

Job Details

 

We are currently looking for Intermediate Planner/Schedulers.

 

Responsibilities

-       Planning, scheduling, contract administration and controls. Involved in all planning and scheduling functions including the development, maintenance, updates and analysis of the integrated schedules for engineering, procurement, and construction projects;

-       Provides regular update reports detailing status, performance, critical paths, and analysis;

-       Monitors and analyzes resource utilization;

-       Use of Primavera P6 scheduling software.

 

Requirements

-       A minimum of 5-10 years experience in project management/project controls with experience in planning, scheduling and costing;

-       A University degree in a related field;

-       Must have extensive experience working on large projects preferably in the mining sector;

-       Must be proficient with MS Project and Primavera P6, as well as MS Access, Excel, and Word;

-       Must have exceptional organizational skills and strong written and oral communication skills;

-       Must be self-motivated, hard working and results oriented;

-       Must work well in a diverse team environment;

-       Previous experience in an engineering consulting environment is an asset.
