John Sisk & Son Ltd & Roadbridge Civil Engineering & Building Contractors, through their partnership, SRB Polska are seeking experienced Civil Engineering Section Forepersons as a result of their expansion into Poland.

Title                         Section Foreperson (Motorways)

Reports to             Site Agent /  Manager (Motorways)

Qualifications:      Diploma in Construction or Engineering related field or strong trades background with appropriate certification.

Experience:            Minimum 10 years civil foreperson experience.  Highway experience would be an advantage.

Main Focus            The ideal candidate should have Site foreman experience and be able to supervise

workers effectively and have excellent motivational and communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to integrate with a close knit team are key attributes.

Key Tasks:

• Responsible for health and safety at the work location
• Organizing the Crew in a manner that results in high efficiency
• Setting solid example of quality and good work habits to his subordinates, and encourage development of his crew without loss or efficiency
• Analyze any problems that may arise at the job, and, if possible, come up with solutions and implement them
• Submit all receipts and time sheets to his/her Manager daily
• Look after equipment and vehicles and report any damage or malfunction immediately. Check fuel and fluid levels daily
• Enforce safe working conditions with all job assignments and is responsible for instructing staff on proper equipment use and work method

General Requirements Include:

• Fluent Polish and English is essential
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and management skills
• Polish licences together with road building experience would be an advantage.
• Technical and written competence in Polish and English is an advantage.
