The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect provides a superior level of technical sales support for a wide range of the IBI/iWay integration & integrity product lines. The individual must possess broad industry knowledge, strong architectural vision selling and hand on demonstration skills for middleware products, systems, packages, applications, and deployment environments. The Solutions Architect must provide thought leadership on emerging technology trends in the industry. This individual will collaborate with a diverse sales force in assisting and closing deals within a forecasted pipeline.

In addition to the Duties and Responsibilities listed above, the successful SA will:
Þ 5-7 years experience in a sales organization demonstrating COTS integration/ integrity software suites.
Þ Excellent understanding of a sales environment.
Þ Working knowledge of multiple modern Operating Systems, such as Linux, UNIX, Windows;
Þ A thorough understanding of modern connectivity technologies, such as JDBC, ODBC, Adapters, JMS;
Þ A thorough understanding of Web Services and affiliated technologies, such as SOAP, WSDL and UDDI
Þ An understanding of the diverse modern formats and transformation technologies, such as XML, XSD, XSLT;
Þ Ability to assess current complex technical environment and make recommendations on future state improvements.
Þ Independently diagnose and solve very complex technical problems quickly in a sales cycle.
Þ Ability to assemble, manage, and build a consensus among key IBI/iWay people necessary to advance a sales cycle.
Þ Effectively articulate with internal and external executives and technical people.
Þ Excellent written and presentation skills.
Þ Ability to work effectively with Sales and Product Management teams.
Þ Self-motivated and work in a autonomous sales environment
Þ Ability to adapt to changes in IBI/iWay's corporate and product line strategies.
Þ College degree or equivalent.
Þ 10-15 years of IT or data processing experience.
Þ 5-7 years experience selling integration and or integrity software products.
Þ Broad working knowledge of core operating systems (Windows, Linux, most technologies, and the ability to ramp up quickly on any system.
Þ Ability and reasonable readiness to go anywhere, anytime, for any assignment.
Þ 40 - 50% travel to support sales opportunities is a broad geographic territory.
