The Maintenance Technician Level 1 is responsible for routine handyman duties. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating contractors and ensuring the physical condition and appearance of the building are of the utmost standard. The Maintenance Technician Level 1 will report to the Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor or Regional Manager, Technical Services.
The required tasks of the position will be handled either personally or by way of contracted services. The primary objective of the Maintenance Technician Level 1 is to ensure that the assigned building or complex of buildings is being managed and maintained in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and to the highest level of operational efficiency.

Technical Qualifications - The Maintenance Technician Level 1 shall have the following technical qualifications or industry equivalency:
