Job Overview

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join the DevSecOps Mobile Security Team. 

The Mobile Security engineer will act as an internal consultant embedding security into day to day activities of our development and DevSecOps teams. The applicant will bring experience in cyber security or development to support a Secure SDLC. You will possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise architectures, APIs, database technologies and an understanding of information flows within applications. You will have a working knowledge of micro-service architectures and how they might be deployed within a DevOps continuous delivery context.

The ideal candidate will be acting at a functional level within a global consulting and technology organisation, you will have the opportunity to stand out amongst your peers by employing and implementing innovative ideas to drive success for the organisation and their clients.

Excellent understanding of web based design, web services, and application security and integration into CI/CD pipelines is required. Training will be provided as needed.

Experience and Attributes

Desired Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Static and Dynamic Mobile Security Testing

• An understanding of DevOps and working in an Agile environment

• Security analysis aptitude

• Strong Knowledge of all application-based security issues, including both web & mobile

• Strong knowledge of methodologies such as OWASP, and standards such as PCI DSS

• Experienced working with various iOS and Android devices

• Experience of mobile development, iOS & Android

• Working knowledge of tools used for Web & Mobile Application development

• Experience of implementing secure coding practices

• Experience of security within cloud environment. AWS preferably or other cloud technologies such as Azure.

• Familiar with MDM (Mobile Device Management) & MAM (Mobile Application Management)

• Qualifications & Experience

• Should be educated to degree/MSc. Level in Digital Forensics, Information Security or an IT related discipline

• Should hold relevant industrial security certifications, or willingness to acquire

• At least 5 years' experience in an Development or Application Security Testing environment, with a significant focus on Mobile security

• Financial services and development experience would be an advantage
