Pramerica Systems Ireland has an opportunity for a Release Manager. The Release management function is an integral part of the IT Department and one which plays a key role in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The Release Management team is accountable for the operational management of ITIL service transition in respect of the Release Management process and procedures for enterprise software applications and systems infrastructure in use in Prudential. A successful Release Management function will ensure that all new/updated Services delivered within a release are fit for purpose and fit for use.

There are four types of releases that are managed by the release management function: Major Releases, involving new features and enhancements; Minor Releases involving minor enhancements and defect repairs; Emergency Releases involving critical and major defect repairs and Agile Releases.
