Graphic Designer (Droitwich)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graphic Designer to join out Creative Studio team based in Droitwich.

Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer and Head of Creative, you will be working on the creation and execution of packaging designs, user guides, product machine graphics, brochures and additional marketing material to suit current market trends.

You will be joining a friendly in-house marketing team of Graphic and Digital Designers in a growing international business and will be working on design concepts for the UK, Europe, Middle East and the US.

The Nitty Gritty!
  • Apply creative thinking, ideas research and problem solving to translate creative briefs into effective design solutions.
  • Conceptualise ideas and execute compelling designs for a wide range of marketing communications materials.
  • Ensure all artwork, including images, messaging, style, logo usage and other graphic elements, meets the company’s standards and adheres to the brand guidelines.
  • Illustrate concepts with sketches and rough layouts.
  • Present ideas and creative concepts to the team and contribute in regular team creative meetings.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept to final output.
  • Provide digital and print-ready files and manage the print production of those materials in accordance with studio processes.
  • Participate in the final approval process, ensuring all design solutions are delivered to a high standard.
  • Support the Manager with processes, systems and workflow.
  • At times may be required to work outside the normal working hours.

What we need from you...

  • Graphic Design Degree / HND or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ graphic design industry experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Knowledge of designing for print; familiarity with packaging design (desirable but not essential)
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload and understand creative briefs
  • Ensure that all artwork meets the company’s standards and adheres to the brand guidelines
  • Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and high standard of artworking
  • Communicate with other departments to deliver projects under challenging deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ensure artwork files and assets are filed correctly
