FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION

JOB ROLE:
To work as part of Financial Management team directly responsible for the checking, inputting and processing of Expenses. This is a key position in the Financial Management team ensuring that all expenses submissions are of the highest standard, from a reputational perspective and are processed and paid on time from a staff perspective. In addition there will be further responsibilities in the Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets areas.
KEY TASKS:                 
  • Review Expense claims checking for completeness, errors, omissions before final review by level D.
  • Process Month End Expenses Report for Approval.
  • Staff Charge Cards to be checked and reviewed monthly for subsequent allocation against paid balances.
  • To assist in updating Fixed Asset register and the year-end Fixed Asset report
  • To assist in the production of Debtor Invoices and management of the Accounts Receivable function in general.
  • To undertake any additional ad hoc duties as may be assigned in Financial Management;
  •   To deliver key tasks by ensuring dignity, respect and equality are applied in the workplace;
  •   To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process;
  • To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.

                              Additional Requirements  
-             A third level business or finance qualification, to a minimum of degree standard, and/or relevant business experience is essential;
-             A full driving licence is preferable;
-            Proficiency and experience in the use of software packages including Word and
              Excel, together with a good understanding of Information Management;
-            Team player with initiative and ability to solve problems;
-             Ability to work well under pressure.

Salary 
€ 20,913 per annum contributory superannuation
22 days annual leave
