Job Purpose:

The Assistant Property Executive will work within the Sales and Marketing Department of Strategic Property Department in Athlone, Co Westmeath. The role will involve the creation and delivery of digital marketing content including brochures, videos, infographics etc., co-ordination of marketing events and maintenance of digital platforms which are a key marketing asset for IDA Ireland as a location for Foreign Direct Investment. This role will also support the Property Marketing Team in relation to private sector property searches, supporting client engagements at stakeholder meetings, on itinerary and at networking events.

Key Tasks:
  • To proactively participate in the implementation of the objectives as set out in IDA’s Strategy, Driving Recovery & Sustainable Growth and Property Department’s Sustainability Strategy
  • To develop and deliver of a suite of high quality and innovative marketing collateral to include physical and digital brochures, videos, 3D walkthroughs, visualisations, newsletters, etc. to promote IDA’s Property assets.
  • To procure and manage the necessary suppliers in the delivery of the above in line with procedures and ensure economic & timely delivery of services in line with IDA objectives;.
  • To maintain our internal and external digital marketing platforms.
  • To provide support to the Sales and Marketing Team and the wider Property Department in the project management of key FDI property related projects.
  • To provide support to IDA colleagues and others in respect of the property requirements of clients.
  • To prepare and present credible proposals to Management, PMC, PCB and Board, as required, on property related projects, if required.
  • To utilise technology effectively for the delivery of professional property sales and marketing functions.
  • To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process.

  • To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks across the property team that can arise or are assigned to this role and any other duties as required.

Additional Requirements:
  • A minimum of Diploma level qualification and/or commensurate experience, preferably in the digital environment
  • Experience of programmes such as InDesign, Illustrator, Canva and Photoshop would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects to tight timelines.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills and specifically strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
  • Aspects of this role will require national travel and working outside normal office hours.
  • Ongoing flexibility and interest in career progression and development is required.
Salary Scale:
€29,439 to €55,209 per annum contributory superannuation.
Rising by long service increments to €57,009 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range.
