IDA Ireland Facilities Executive (Hard Services Lead).

IDA Global Facilities Department are seeking to recruit a Facilities Executive (Hard Services Lead).
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the oversight of Hard of services within IDA Facilities management Contract, be an integral member of an existing highly driven team.
Other day to day responsibilities within the role are Contract Management, Project Management, Budget Management, H&S, Office Services for IDA Ireland Office Portfolio.

The applicant must be technically strong and be able to demonstrate their knowledge across Facilities Contract Management, Project Management, Procurement and Health and Safety background.

The role is based in IDA New Global Head Quarters in Dublin however domestic travel is required to manage the FM Contract.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • To review PPM reports and recommendations;
  • To manage IDA’s Facilities Contracts for its headquarters in Dublin, its nine regional offices and support its overseas offices;
  • To proactively engage with clients and stakeholders on issues ensuring the highest standards are adhered to at all times;
  • To management IDA office projects as and when required;
  • To project manage externally appointed contractors & other agents to ensure economic & timely delivery in line with IDA objectives;
  • To support procurement & tender processes across the facilities portfolio in line with best practise for public agencies;
  • Adhere to the Office of Government Procurement frameworks applicable to IDA’s Global Facilities Department;
  • To ensure IDA Global Facilities Department Procedures & Government Procurement regulations are fully implemented;
  • To utilise technology effectively in order to manage facilities activities in the most effective and efficient manner to protect the corporate governance of IDA;
  • To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking specific project assignments across IDA’s Global Facilities Department as required;
  • To prepare and present proposals to the relevant IDA Committees/Board as appropriate;
  • To support the property management and lease management of IDA Ireland’s office buildings;
  • To support the constant review and implementation of IDA Ireland’s Health and Safety policy and procedures across all IDA offices (Dublin headquarters, regional offices and overseas offices) as required;

 Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facilities contract management role
  • A third level qualification to Level 8 on the National Qualification Framework is essential, preferably related to facilities management

Salary Scale:
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: From €46,697.00 per year - Non-negotiable
Public sector salary scale - €46,697 to €67,169 per annum contributory superannuation. Rising by long service increments to €68,784 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range). Public Sector scale requires a candidate to start at minimum of the scale.
