The Regional Advertising Sales Executive role is responsible for maximising advertising revenue for the business from their defined area of operation.
He or she is responsible for the management of all customers within their area of operation including servicing existing clients and new business development.
The primary focus of the role will be on providing best practice customer engagement in the handling of advertising across all relevant categories in order to maximise revenues.
The post will also involve providing back-up across other disciplines in the advertising department as required.
  • Identifying and pursuing advertising revenue opportunities within their area of operation
  • Dealing with customers in person, on the phone and via email and assisting and advising them on advertising options
  • Working with clients to develop advertising solutions for their businesses
  • Booking on and inputting advertising with speed and accuracy to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Taking payments from customers and correctly recording these payments to ensure cash reconciliations balance
  • Cross checking advertisements to ensure they are correct before going to press
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in a sales environment with evidence of direct sales experience
  • Ability to identify and maximise advertising revenue opportunities for the business and generate sales lists
  • Ability to work to and achieve sales targets
  • Good computer proficiency and keyboard skills
  • Good understanding of social media
