Role Requirements

Role Requirement 1
Software Development
 
  • Develop and implement custom solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 (on-premise)
  • Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends
  • Create relationship-based data models
  • Provide technical insights and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure there is End User focus on the software being developed
  • Deliver high quality software solutions using the following toolsets
    • Professional standards-based web development using ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery
    • .NET based language (C#)
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform
    • Visual Studio
    • Source Control: GitHub
    • Project/Issue Tracking: Jira

Role Requirement 2
Testing and QA
  • Complete component and unit testing of all deliverables
  • Demonstrate that software developed meets the functional requirements and expectations of the end user
  • Assist System and User test resources in issue trouble shooting and resolution
  • Update/Track test bugs, issues and refinements
  • Liaise with the B.A. and P.M. to resolve issues and to progress into system deployment
  • Support business users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Role Requirement 3
Application Architecture
 
  • Ensure that proposed solutions adhere to the Pobal software application roadmap
  • Work with the Business Systems team to ensure that ICT delivered systems conform to regulatory standards, program development, and supporting policies and that proven methods and concepts for business continuity are used
  • Ability to present architecture approach to a broad audience

Role Requirement 4
Business Analysis
 
  • Work closely with business analysts to ensure timelines, quality and scope of requirements are met
  • Participate in business meetings and provide meaningful input that help translate the business language into technical language and vice versa.
  • Provide both coding and non-coding solutions according to business requirements.
  • Propose alternative solutions to business problems or opportunities

Required Experience
 
  • 3/4 years minimum experience with Dynamics 365/Power Platform
  • Experience with a number of the following:
    • .Net language (C#)
    • JavaScript and jQuery
    • SQL scripts
    • SSRS/SSIS
    • Power BI
    • Web Development (HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Strong experience of software development basics including OOD, XML, Web Services, REST, .NET Framework and SOA

Qualifications
 
  • Relevant Third Level qualification (e.g., Degree) or equivalent is desirable
  • Microsoft Power Platform or related certifications are also desirable
