Vhi Group Services DAC have a full time temporary role (2 years) for a Senior Rewards Specialist based in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of effective reward programs that are externally competitive, fiscally responsible, internally equitable, and that align with the organization’s business and people agenda. This role will support a number of key strategic reward initiatives such as the design and implementation of a new career and reward framework (“CRF”) a strategic review of the operation of the organisation’s pension schemes, and a new HRIS implementation. The role will also support the annual performance and compensation review cycle

Role purpose
  • Support Reward & Recognition leadership to define and develop the total rewards structure and strategy including compensation, benefits, pension and ensure consistency and fairness in the organisation 
  • Analyse and report on various components related to total reward issues, including advice and support for the business 
  • Administration of full compensation cycle for all positions, compensation planning and other compensation related activities 
  • Proactively monitor market trends and the financial aspects of the compensation, benefits and reward programs to ensure they are cost effective, internally equitable and externally competitive 
  • Conduct internal reward, recognition reviews, and assessments to determine the attractiveness and alignment of programs to employee retentions 
  • Conduct leading practice reviews to obtain insights into enhancements to total rewards which ensures Vhi remains competitive in the market 
  • Support the Reward & Recognition team in developing the recognition strategy 
  • Work in partnership with People Partners and COEs to advise on reward issues including benchmarking of new roles 
  • Support the oversight, management and administration of the organisation’s pensions and benefits programmes. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reward processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

Key criteria
  • 4-5 years relevant experience in compensation and benefits 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Relevant experience in formulating and implementing compensation policies 
  • Demonstrated experience of researching and analysing compensation data 
  • Experience planning and executing annual compensation cycles  
  • Understanding of pension scheme governance and administration 
  • Knowledge of the Core HR system, or similar HR software / system and advanced levels of proficiency in MS word and excel 
  • Capability to communicate clearly and effectively with people at all levels within and outside the organisation 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Demonstrated alignment to the Vhi values.
