The Vhi Customer Operations Office GS have a number of full time temporary (2 years) vacancies based in Dublin or Kilkenny on a hybrid basis for a dynamic Learning Experience Designer to lead the creation of innovative, interactive learning solutions for Operations. This role focuses on designing and developing blended learning, self-directed e-Learning, simulations, assessments, and video content that supports professional development in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate combines creative storytelling with technical expertise in digital learning tools and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting

Role purpose
Learning Design & Development
Develop engaging self-paced e-Learning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise
Design interactive simulations and scenario-based blended learning to reinforce real-world application.
Build formative and summative assessments to measure learning outcomes and knowledge retention.
Produce video-based learning assets, including editing and animating instructional videos using tools like Camtasia, Vyond, or Adobe After Effects.
Create facilitator guides, job aids, scripts, and post-training reinforcement tools.
Innovation & Engagement
Apply multimedia and animation to enhance learner engagement and accessibility.
Stay current with trends in digital learning, gamification, and scenario-based design.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure learning solutions align with business goals and learner needs.
Consulting & Strategy
Partner with SMEs, key stakeholders, and the wider team to surface business requirements; identify learning needs, learning evaluation methods, and criteria to implement as during development of effective learning solutions. (Learning Needs Analysis)
Translate business requirements into instructional strategies with measurable learning outcomes.
Present learning prototypes to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
LMS and Project Management
Manage learning projects from concept to delivery using agile methodologies.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
Manage and administer Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course deployment, learner tracking, and reporting.
Measurement & Evaluation
Implement evaluation strategies to assess learning effectiveness and impact.
Use learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve learning solutions.
Key Criteria
Minimum 3 years in instructional design, digital learning, or corporate training with proven track record of developing interactive e-Learning, simulations, and video-based content
A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Education, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience in digital learning design and development may also be considered.
Instructional design, adult learning theory, and outcome-based learning.
Strong experience regarding articulating Storyline Suite and Rise.
Simulation and assessment development.
Video editing and animation experience.
PowerPoint and multimedia presentation design.
Proven experience around communication and storytelling through digital media.
Project and process management experience.
Innovation and creative problem-solving.
Experience designing for microlearning.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Compliance and/or Risk & Controls within a regulated health insurance provider is a strong advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Resilient, highly motivated individual with strong work ethic, with proven ability to work both independently and within.
Excellent analytical and attention to detail skills
