Location : Dublin (hybrid)
Vhi Group Services DAC have a full time permanent vacancy for the role of Group Capital Project Manager based in Dublin (hybrid). The successful candidate will lead the planning, governance and delivery of Vhi's capital investment programme, including supporting the optimisation and development of the Group property portfolio in partnership. Working closely with our facilities and energy team to ensure we maximise the utilisation of our properties and capital assets with a strong focus on efficiencies and value for money whilst also meeting the strategic needs of our business.
What will you do (a full job spec is available on request)
Lead the planning and delivery of Vhi’s capital investment programme across its property portfolio, from business case development through to project completion.
Manage project budgets, governance, risks and performance to ensure value for money and successful business outcomes.
Oversee the procurement and management of consultants, contractors and professional advisors.
Prepare and present investment proposals, business cases and project updates to senior stakeholders.
Support the development and implementation of Vhi’s property strategy and management of the property portfolio.
Monitor property-related risks, asset performance, leases, valuations and rates to achieve optimal outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety, environmental, energy and regulatory requirements.
Drive sustainability initiatives and support delivery of Vhi's Climate Action Plan 2030 commitments.
Support the Head of Services on strategic property, facilities and operational projects as required.
What will you need to be successful:
Third Level degree qualified preferable or qualifications in project management (Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities, surveying, engineering, capital project management or related environments desirable).
Demonstrable experience in capital project planning, governance and delivery.
Experience managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets and investment programmes.
Strong understanding of procurement and contractor management processes.
Strong presentation skills and ability to chair meetings.
Advanced word, excel and PowerPoint with advanced Report/Proposal writing required.
SharePoint and Microsoft project experience desirable·
Demonstrable experience delivering complex capital projects and asset investment programmes with experience managing external consultants, contractors and professional service providers
Experience of Project governance and programme / project management.
Capital planning and asset lifecycle management / Procurement and contract management
Budget management and financial analysis.
Demonstrated alignment to the Vhi values.
