Meet the team
RTÉ Commercial is responsible for commercial activity across AV, Audio, Digital, Print and Creative Services.
This role sits within the RTÉ Ad Operations Team, within RTÉ Commercial. This team has established itself in the marketplace as an efficient and trusted operations function, ensuring the accurate, timely, and effective delivery of advertising campaigns across RTÉ's platforms.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Operations, with close collaboration with digital teams and the wider RTÉ Commercial Team, you will be responsible for the operational management, trafficking, and optimisation of advertising campaigns, ensuring seamless delivery across RTÉ's platforms.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for advertising operations on our digital services. This will involve end-to-end management and performance of all commercial activity on these services - from set up to execution, reporting, analysis and client service.
About the role
End to end ad campaign management on RTÉ’s digital services to deliver best in class service and business performance for our commercial partners.
Campaigns management across all ad serving technologies - scheduling their delivery via Google Ad Manager and any future platforms
Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies and campaign issues.
Maximisation of commercial revenue through delivery optimisation.
Exceed all agreed commercial targets.
Prepare campaign performance reports and post-campaign analysis for the advertisers on an ad-hoc basis.
Verify technical specifications, QA, service and troubleshoot complex ad creatives.
Working closely with the internal stakeholders, providing active support in all issues related to delivery & performance of commercial campaigns.
Maintaining strong working relations with clients and agencies.
Provide continued communication to alert on campaign performance level.
Identify business improvement opportunities, pitch and implement solutions.
Drive business growth for RTÉ and its commercial partners through innovation and efficient use of advertising technologies.
About you
Proven experience in ad campaign management systems.
Working understanding of the advertising technology ecosystems.
Well versed understanding of the current data protection regulations, cookies, GDPR as well as the upcoming privacy changes and implications.
Strong data analysis and visualisation skills desirable.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Best in class customer service skills.
Nice to have
Previous experience in Ad operations.
A keen interest in media industry innovation.
Experience in media agency or media sales house preferred.

This appointment will be made at the Media Sales Assistant 1 grade and is being offered on a 6-month fixed term, full-time contract basis. The salary scale for this grade is from €34,060 to €45,917 gross per annum.
