Meet the team
RTÉ is looking for a Strategy Analyst to join the Platforms and Partnership team. The Platforms and Partnership team is at the forefront of analysing market intelligence, commercial developments and technical innovations to drive RTÉ’s understanding of the present and future media landscape and how changes may impact on the distribution of RTÉ content and services.

About the role
The Strategy Analyst devises and understands the exchange of value between RTÉ and third-party platforms to build suitable value frameworks and models for existing and emerging distribution platforms.

You will:
  • support the Head of Distribution and Strategic Partnerships in negotiations with platforms to secure value for RTÉ services and content.
  • work with RTÉ stakeholders, source and understand audience and commercial metrics, and understand key business drivers and key performance metrics.
  • consider, understand and appraise the exchange of value between RTÉ and third-party platforms to build suitable value frameworks and models for existing and emerging distribution platforms.
  • be working with internal and external stakeholders, regularly track, analyze and present developments in distribution, technology and the regulatory landscape, and their impact on RTÉ.
  • build data-driven, scenario-based models to evaluate new distribution initiatives (e.g., new business models, partnerships).
  • be expected to build relationships with external contractors, research agencies conducting project and partner entities on key projects.
About you
  • A relevant degree is required (Masters desirable); alternatively, candidates with 3+ years of relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • You will need to have experience in supporting commercial deals and have excellent relationship and influencing skills with an ability to deal with senior executives.
  • You will be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI desirable).

This position will be offered on a 12-month fixed purpose contract on Manager Grade 3 and is from €51,039 to €85,647 gross per annum.
