RTÉ lyric fm is RTÉ's music, culture and arts service providing vibrant music programming and arts content, enriching the lives of its ever-growing audience.
Reporting to the Head of RTÉ lyric fm, we are seeking an experienced Administrator to support the operations of RTÉ lyric fm, RTÉ Radio 1 and RTÉ 2fm. This role will provide high‑quality administrative and organisational support across all three stations.
About the role:
The main duties of the role include:
Processing of purchase orders, fees and any additional payments as required
Co-ordinating studio bookings and hours to ensure companies are correctly invoiced
Processing Acquisition agreements & payments as required
Co-ordinating all annual and sick leave and ensuring it has been entered into the system
Co-ordination and compilation of forward plans on a weekly basis
Collation of all external activity requests on a weekly basis
Responding to queries and drafting responses to correspondence from external organisations, partners and the public on behalf of Audio
Providing Administrative support to any special events across Audio
Gathering data as required for inclusion in the Annual Report, Monthly Output report and Activity Report
Collating and distributing relevant information to both internal and external stakeholders
Other admin duties as required
About you:
Proven experience in a senior administrative role
Excellent organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, someone who operates with a high level of diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

horough with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work

This role is being offered on a two-year fixed term full time contract basis at the Administrative Grade 1 salary scale, between €42,722 gross per annum to €57,860 gross per annum, subject to relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
The role will be based in the RTÉ office in Limerick.
