Mercedes-Benz Cork, a principal dealer for Mercedes-Benz in Ireland and Cork's exclusive Mercedes-Benz dealership, is currently seeking an experienced Sales Person to join our esteemed team. We are a sister company of MDL (Motor Distributors Limited) which are the importers for Mercedes-Benz in Ireland. Our dealership, located in East Gate Business Park, Little Island, County Cork, operates a Sales, Service, Repair and Parts facility dedicated to Mercedes-Benz.

Key duties and responsibilities to include:
  • Maximise sales profitability by effectively selling new and Certified Mercedes-Benz vehicles, as well as promoting finance, insurance, and auxiliary products.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring that customer expectations are not only met but exceeded.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers visiting the dealership and actively seek new opportunities for Mercedes-Benz Cork outside the showroom.
  • Develop a comprehensive product knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz brand and stay updated on changes or amendments to the current product line-up.
  • Consistently implement the Mercedes-Benz sales process.
  • Achieve new volume and model mix targets set by the company annually.
  • Meet annual targets for used car sales.
  • Fulfil targets for outbound calls to prospective customers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Achieve accessories sales targets set by the company.
The successful candidate will ideally:
  • Proven track record in sales within the motor industry.
  • Proactive and target-oriented approach.
  • Excellent understanding of customer needs, with the ability to anticipate and meet them effectively.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in administration and IT skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Possession of a full, valid, and current driving license.
