MSL Motor Group is seeking a professional, customer-focused, and motivated Van Delivery Driver / Parts Assistant to join our Mercedes-Benz North Dublin team during an exciting period of transformation and growth. This newly developed flagship dealership will unite our existing Mercedes-Benz North Dublin sales operation on the Navan Road with our MSL Service Centre Mercedes-Benz, dedicated element of our service operation at North Circular Road, bringing both together into a single, purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility.
Built from the ground up under the Mercedes-Benz MAR20X retail transformation standards, this new location will redefine the aftersales experience, focusing on luxury, trust, ease, and respect at every touchpoint. As a Van Delivery Driver / Parts Assistant, you will play a central role in delivering this premium experience and will report directly to the Parts Manager, ensuring a seamless link between customer needs, workshop operations, and our commitment to brand excellence.

Role Overview
The Van Delivery Driver / Parts Assistant is responsible for the timely and professional delivery of Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts to trade customers, body shops, accident repair centres, and independent workshops throughout North Dublin and surrounding counties.
The successful candidate will also play an active role in developing customer relationships, promoting Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts, identifying sales opportunities, generating orders, and supporting the internal Parts Department when not completing deliveries.
The role requires someone who combines excellent customer service skills with commercial awareness and enjoys building lasting business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Delivery
Deliver Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts accurately and efficiently to trade customers and body repair centres.
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and within agreed timescales.
Load and unload deliveries while ensuring goods are handled with care.
Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures where required.
Maintain delivery documentation and proof of delivery records.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the company van is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
Represent Mercedes-Benz North Dublin professionally at all times while on the road.
Sales & Business Development
Actively seek opportunities to generate additional parts sales during customer visits.
Build relationships with independent garages, accident repair centres, and fleet operators.
Promote seasonal campaigns and special offers.
Support the expansion of the trade parts customer base.
Assist in identifying new business opportunities within the local market.
Work closely with the Parts Advisors to maximise sales opportunities and customer retention.
Internal Parts Department Support
When not completing deliveries, the successful candidate will support the Parts Department by:
Answering customer telephone enquiries.
Assisting with trade customer orders.
Processing parts requests.
Picking and preparing customer orders.
Assisting with goods inward and stock organisation.
Supporting stock control activities and cycle counts.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient parts warehouse.
Assisting colleagues during busy trading periods.
