Motor Distributors Ltd., importers of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars and Vans, Daimler Trucks, BYD, XPeng and Smart passenger vehicles, are seeking to recruit an experienced Truck Dealer Support Specialist to join our Wholesale Parts Division.
Reporting to the Parts General Manager, the successful candidate will play a key supporting role for our Dealer Network and Truck Customers. Providing Parts sales, Parts operational and Customer Service support, to ensure smooth business operations and high customer satisfaction.
This role is suited to a highly motivated individual who brings strong customer service and problem‑solving skills, along with the flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated support to our Truck Dealer network and Fleet Customers to maximise sales of our comprehensive truck parts range.
Visting dealers and customers regularly to build business relationships and improve Customer Service.
Coordinate the implementation of the Daimler Truck Customer Service Parts Central Marketing Plan annually.
Monitor dealer Parts and Customer Service performance, to identify potential sales opportunities.
Carry out routine audits of dealer Parts and Customer Service processes to confirm adherence to manufacturer-recommended standards and to highlight areas requiring improvement.
Collaborate with other Departments to help implement the necessary improvement.
Assist with Truck VOR case escalations by driving timely resolutions, analysing alternative solution options, and coordinating with internal teams when required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Several years of experience in the automotive industry, ideally within the Commercial Vehicle sector, with a strong understanding of modern commercial vehicle operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on own initiative.
Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
The ability to influence and gain the respect of our dealer network partners.
A persuasive style with a positive determination to achieve results and meet deadlines.
Data literate with good IT and analytical skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
Adaptable and flexible to changing technologies, processes, and environments.
Good project management skills, ability to plan, process and deliver results.
