We’re hiring for multiple Backend Python Engineer roles: one to join our
TimeArc team and two to join our
LWB 360 team. All teams are growing and focused on delivering major client projects while expanding their respective products. You’ll be contributing to a highly meaningful product built with Python and Django, shaping both architecture and engineering practices with a team that values craftsmanship and ownership.

These roles are based in our Dublin HQ (Rathfarnham, South Dublin), with a flexible hybrid model that supports regular home-working and work-life balance.
Responsibilities:- Work with technical team leads to design overall application architecture
- Work with the team to develop and implement custom components to seamlessly integrate existing systems with Propylon’s TimeArc and LWB 360 suite of products
- Drive development across backend components
- Contribute to product architecture and design
- Participate in code reviews
Requirements- Excellent understanding of the Python programming language, its ecosystem, and idioms.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Python based MVC framework, preferably Django.
- Experience developing application APIs that utilize data and functionality exposed via REST, GraphQL, RPC etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of SQL based RDBMS, e.g. Postgres, MySQL.
- Experience with modern Python features such as type hinting, async, data classes, etc.
- Familiarity with Docker and related containerization technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working in a multifunctional team.
Nice to haves:- Experience with XML processing/transformation.
- Experience with document management/document workflow software and/or SAS products.
- Familiarity or work experience with DevOps workflow/principles, building CI/CD pipelines, with AWS fundamentals.
- Some familiarity with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus, but not required.
