The Role
We are seeking a Motion Design Specialist to join our team and help bring our brand and storytelling to life through compelling video, animation, and digital experiences. This role will focus on 2D animation, motion graphics, video editing, and asset creation across various digital platforms—from display ads to social media.
You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to transform complex ideas into engaging short-form videos and animations, often turning long-form content (e.g., 1-hour webinars) into concise, high-impact clips (1–2 minutes). Your responsibilities: - Create short-form videos from long-form content, including editing b-roll, interviews, voiceover, and motion graphics.
- Design and animate 2D iconography, text graphics, and transitions for brand videos
- Produce social media content, display ads, and video assets for multi-platform use
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Marketing, Product) to bring campaigns to life
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and help evolve the motion design language
- Manage project timelines and deliver assets on schedule
- Stay current on design and animation trends to bring fresh ideas to the team
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:- Strong years of motion design and video editing experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing 2D animation, video editing, and digital content creation
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong grasp of animation principles, composition, and storytelling
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
- Familiarity with optimizing video for social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:- Experience working in financial services or regulated industries
- Familiarity with digital accessibility and UI/UX principles
- Experience with Ceros or other interactive design tools
- Knowledge of generative AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Runway, Midjourney) a plus
