The Role
TCS is seeking a seasoned Business Development and Pre‑Sales Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Site Operations to support strategic growth initiatives at the Global Biopharma Company Ireland site.

This is a client-facing, pre‑sales, and solution-shaping role, focused on engaging local site leadership, understanding operational and transformation challenges, and translating those needs into high‑impact, compliant, and differentiated TCS proposals in collaboration with TCS Centers of Excellence (COEs).
The role requires a unique blend of domain credibility, stakeholder relationships, and commercial mindset, enabling TCS to position relevant services and transformation solutions aligned to Global Biopharma Company’s manufacturing and quality priorities.

Your responsibilities:
Business Development & Pre‑Sales Leadership
  • Act as the primary Manufacturing, Quality, and Site Operations SME in support of BD and pre‑sales engagements at the Leading Biopharma company at Irish site.
  • Engage with site leadership, functional heads, and key stakeholders to understand current-state operations, challenges, and strategic priorities.
Solution Shaping & Proposal Development
  • Collaborate closely with TCS COEs, solution architects, and delivery teams to design compliant and differentiated offerings.
  • Contribute domain expertise to RFP responses, proposals, client presentations, and value articulation.
  • Ensure all solution recommendations align with cGMP, regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.
Pharma Manufacturing & Quality SME Advisory
  • Provide SME insight into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes in controlled cleanroom environments.
  • Guide solution design related to manufacturing equipment, in‑process controls, quality systems, and site operations.
Stakeholder & Ecosystem Enablement
  • Act as a bridge between local site stakeholders and global TCS teams, and support TCS account teams in shaping long‑term strategic opportunities, not just tactical deals.
  • Bring external pharma and biotech best practices into TCS solution positioning.

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Prior hands‑on experience at Global Biopharma Company (strongly preferred) or extensive experience working with pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing sites.
  • Proven expertise across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Site Operations in a cGMP-regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of cleanroom operations, manufacturing execution, and quality compliance.
  • Ability to operate in a client-facing, consultative, and pre‑sales role with senior stakeholders.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Experience in business development, pre‑sales, consulting, or transformation advisory roles.
  • Exposure to digital manufacturing, MES, quality systems, automation, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
