The Role
As an
Intelligent Automation Solutions Architect
within the Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will be responsible for designing, governing, and delivering enterprise automation solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and automation developers, you will assess automation opportunities, define scalable solution architectures, and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
This role requires deep expertise in the UiPath platform, strong technical leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strategic understanding of the overall automation landscape, including emerging technologies such as Agentic/AI Automation, and enterprise integration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions and provide technical feasibility assessments and solution recommendations.
Lead solution design activities and produce supporting technical documentation where required.
Perform code reviews and solution reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to development standards.
Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, libraries, and architectural components.
Contribute to automation development activities, particularly for complex or enterprise-wide solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into effective automation solutions.
Establish and promote development standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the automation estate.
Design and implement API-based integrations between automation solutions and enterprise systems.
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database components, including tables, schemas, stored procedures, and integration frameworks that support automation solutions.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to developers within the Automation CoE.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies across RPA, AI, and Intelligent Automation.
Your Profile
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Proficiency with the UiPath platform and enterprise automation solution delivery.
Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting production solutions using UiPath Document Understanding, Communications Mining, Apps, Integration Service, and other Intelligent Automation capabilities.
Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering UiPath automation solutions throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through production support.
Experience with UiPath Maestro, Agent Builder, Autopilot, or similar agent orchestration technologies.
Strong experience designing and implementing API-based integrations between UiPath automations and enterprise applications.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, schema development, stored procedures, and database integration within automation solutions.
Experience conducting technical feasibility assessments and defining solution architectures for complex business processes.
Experience establishing development standards, performing code reviews, and promoting best practices across automation teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical audiences.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Experience mentoring automation developers and providing technical leadership within an Automation Centre of Excellence.
Ability to evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend solutions that align with enterprise objectives.
Good to have:
Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated environments.
UiPath Solution Architect, Advanced Developer, or other relevant UiPath certifications.
Claude Certified Architect, or equivalent AI/LLM architecture certification.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude, Codex, Google Gemini, or other enterprise AI platforms.
Good understanding of Python and C#/C++/VB for custom integrations, workflow extensions, and automation-related development.
Experience with Process Mining, Task Mining, or Process Intelligence solutions.
