The Role
TCS seeks an experienced SAP Success Factor Security and S4 Security Consultant to join our dynamic IT Service Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for SF Security and S4 Security areas of SAP systems that support critical business functions. You will collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders for day-to-day operations and projects.


Your responsibilities:
  • Design, creation, implementation and operation of Security Procedures and System Access Management for all SAP modules.
  • Evaluation of security Risks and Implementation of related controls.
  • Work on internal SAP projects and Change Requests as required. 
  • Identify potential process improvements opportunities across the SAP landscape. 
  • Complete knowledge transfer for respective application areas to other members of the team. 
  • Collaborate with Team Leads, Delivery Leads, Functional SME’s and Solution Architects to Identify and manage risks. 
  • implementation – completing system configuration. 
  • Design, configure, and maintain Role‑Based Permissions (RBP) across assigned SuccessFactors modules.
  • Create and manage permission roles, permission groups, target populations, and dynamic group rules.
  • Ensure principle of least privilege and proper segregation of duties.
  • Perform regular user access reviews, audits, and security validations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security, authorization, and access‑related issues.
  • Support releases, upgrades, and system changes from a security perspective.


Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:  
  • Must have experience in Success Factor Security configuration administration.

Success Factor Module‑Specific Responsibilities:
  1. Recruiting Management & Recruitment Marketing 
  • Configure and maintain roles for recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and recruiting administrators.
    Secure access to job requisitions, candidate profiles, interview feedback, and offers.
    Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy requirements for candidate data.
 
  1. Onboarding 2.0
  • Manage role access for onboarding participants such as new hires, hiring managers, HR partners, and administrators.
    Secure access to onboarding tasks, forms, documents, and compliance information.
    Ensure appropriate access transitions from candidate to employee. 
 
  1. Performance & Goals Management
  • Maintain permissions for goal plans, performance forms, calibration sessions, and review templates.
    Ensure managers have correct visibility for team data while protecting employee confidentiality.
    Support year‑end review cycles from a security and access perspective. 
 
  1.  Learning Management System (LMS) 
  • Configure security roles for learners, instructors, administrators, and business owners.
    Control access to learning items, assignments, classes, assessments, and reports.
    Manage LMS admin roles and reporting access securely.
 
  1. Career Development
  • Manage permissions for development plans, career worksheets, mentoring programs, and talent profiles.
    Ensure accurate role‑based visibility for employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
 
  1. Succession Planning
  • Configure secure access to succession org charts, talent pools, and succession nomination data.
    Protect sensitive leadership and talent information.
    Support executive and HR‑only access requirements.



Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Past experience with the application HP Quality Centre is an advantage (i.e., for the creation and execution of test scripts and the resolution of Defects) 
  • Leadership qualities would be an advantage.
  • Experience in SuccessFactors and Concur is desirable.
