The individual will be required to take to the target customers a broad range of IT services and IP-led solutions.
The key responsibilities are as follows:- Creation of CXO’s interactions and connections
- Offer broad range of IT services and IP led solutions (which includes services like IT Transformation, IT Support, BPO, Digital, Cyber, AI, etc.).
- To assist in creating, agree and implement the sales strategy, approach and objectives for the target market
- To identify key opportunities and develop compelling propositions and business cases and to proactively take them to the named account and to the wider general insurance market
- To ensure routine use of bid review / approval processes, sales reporting and pipeline management tools
- To develop and maintain the senior level relationships within target market / accounts in order to maximize sales opportunities.
TCS in the UK and Ireland have identified Insurance as an industry segment which is under penetrated in terms of TCS client footprint. TCS believes that the Insurance market in the UK and Ireland presents significant opportunities that are aligned with TCS existing capabilities, assets and ongoing strategic investments.Accordingly, TCS is making a series of strategic investments to drive growth in the area of Insurance. TCS are looking for a senior sales professional to join the team to maximize sales TCV and revenue in the GI and non-GI sector. The suitable candidate will be target driven and hungry to achieve results, they will have the ability to forge effective commercial relationships at CxO level and will be able to use their tenacity and experience to drive value. They will need to believe in the vision and values of TCS and to be able to translate that in their proposals and propositions.
Outline of RoleWe will be expected to bring to fore a combination of market knowledge, industry experience, competition insights and personal networks and relationships to help TCS drive growth in its General Insurance business. Key expectations from the role are as below.- Identifying white spaces in the insurance market that are underpenetrated and/or underserved through their understanding of the industry and market in general.
- Help shape and appropriately message TCS offerings and capabilities to service the white spaces above.
- Assist in identifying key stake holders and facilitating connections to proactively position TCS solutions to buyers and help develop such conversations.
- Assist and guide TCS solution teams in responding to RFPs and market tenders esp. from the perspective of strategic positioning and alignment of TCS proposals with client ask and expectations.
- Support marketing events as industry voice of authority including but not limited to shaping TCS messaging and positioning.
- Bring proactive and/or targeted market intelligence as appropriate.
Your ProfileEssential skills/knowledge/experience: - Experience of carrying and achieving sales targets around orders and revenue
- Deep understanding of General Insurance trends, market drivers, dynamics and buying habits in the UK and Ireland,
- Solid understanding of technology esp. within Insurance, Insurance operations and processes, and an appreciation of how AI is and will shape the industry direction and demand
- Experience of working with cross-functional, distributed and remote teams including solution teams, pre-sales, marketing, legal and commercial
- Sound understanding of legal and commercial frameworks that apply in IT services and IP led sales and engagements
- Comfortable working with C-level customers
- Strong network of senior relationships within the market and industry
- A self-starter and natural networker who can work around complex and large organisations
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience- Appreciation of Industry regulations and regulatory bodies
- Understanding and appreciation of AI and its impact on insurance industry and service providers like TCS
