This role will be filled in line with Public Pay Policy at Point 1 of the relevant Salary Scale unless the successful candidate is appointed from an existing public sector role.

Role
The Business Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for implementing and optimizing trade marketing activities and campaigns to strengthen brand presence at the point of sale. This role works closely with business partnerships, marketing, publicity and external partners to plan effective B2B promotions and activities in the DACH region that drive sales and enhance customer loyalty.
Note: This role will involve some travel and work outside normal business hours.
The Duties - Key Responsibilites & Accountabilities
- Co-ordinate and implement sales promotion activities in the DACH region in conjunction with Business Partnerships manager or Business Partnerships Executives like shows, events and B2B workshops
- Co-ordinate and implement digital communication such as trade newsletter, trade website and social media posts on a regular basis including content planning and reporting.
- In collaboration with Business Partnerships Manager, develop, implement and evaluate golf product marketing activities such as golf promotions, campaigns or events in the DACH region.
- Collaborate with the German partnerships team to develop tailored strategies for different trade channels
- Implement and evaluate joint B2B marketing campaigns with internal and external stakeholders and ensure brand and content alignment within the activities.
- Create PowerPoint or other content for presentations for events, webinars or fairs.
- Co-ordinate industry opportunities for the Business Partnerships Team
- Work with our partner agencies Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland to collaboratively design compelling travel itineraries for trade partners and famtrips.
- Work closely with the DACH and Head Office partnerships and marketing teams to ensure the integration of all campaigns into the trade calendar.
- Support Key Account Management evaluations in collaboration with the Business Partnerships Manager.
- Monitor and report on trade marketing activities and ensure MARS (Marketing Activity Repository System) reporting is up to date.
- Support and monitor effective budget and project management.
- Support integrated projects within the marketing calendar, e.g. St Patrick’s Day; Halloween
- Respond to day-to-day requests of DACH trade partners and other stakeholders.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to support optimization of the Tourism Ireland activities
- Represent Tourism Ireland at various industry and corporate functions and events. Travel and working some unsocial hours will be a requirement of this job.
- Ensure adherence in your area of responsibility to the company’s GDPR compliance policies and procedures.
- Support overall DACH market projects and such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require.

The PersonThe successful person will possess the following skills, experience and competencies:
Essential
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
Initial experience in tourism marketing such as event management, partnership marketing and project management.
