Job Purpose: 
To work as a key member of the Medical Technology team in attracting and securing high quality jobs and investments. Supporting the Global Team to deliver on investment targets. Supporting the Department Manager, Project Managers and Project Executives in a range of marketing & administrative functions. 
 
 
Key Tasks: 
  • To provide a high quality and efficient administrative service to the Department Manager, Medical Technologies (including diary management, events, logistics, marketing materials and CRM data) 
     
  • To work with Project Executives and Department Management to gather key metrics and data related to organisational performance and to ensure that such activities are performed;  
     
  • To help prepare high quality presentations and other marketing material;  
     
  • To ensure dignity, respect and equality are applied throughout the organisation and that a work life balance in the workplace is supported as much as possible; 
     
  • To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process; 
     
  • Ensure that IDA’s values of EIRE (Enterprise, Inclusive, Resourceful & Empowering) are upheld.  
     
  • To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft computer packages, proficiency and experience in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential together with the ability to use social media platforms; 
  • A third level qualification, or currently working towards a higher education qualification is desirable; 
  • Ongoing flexibility and interest in career progression and development via opportunities, which may arise in IDA’s offices in Ireland and Overseas; 
  • Aspects of this role will require travel and working outside of normal office hours. 
  • A full driving license is desirable 
Salary Scale:  
€27,304 to €45,029 per annum contributory superannuation.  
Rising by long service increments to €47,640 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range) Non-negotiable to start at the minimum of the scale. Annual increments of €1,755
