The Role 
We are looking for a GCP Cloud Architect with professional experience in designing, implementing, and managing of cloud platforms necessary to process and analyze large and complex data by using GCP technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and implement data ingestion pipelines to collect data from various sources, process and store large and complex data using GCP technologies or any appropriate ingestion tool per requirement.
  • Design and implement cloud platforms using GCP services such as Cloud storage, BigQuery, DataFlow, DataFusion, DataProc, Composer, BigTable and Pub/Sub
  • Optimize data processing performance and efficiency using GCP tools and technologies.
  • Architect and deploy cloud-native applications using GCP services Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Function and Cloud Run and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to design and implement data models and algorithms for analysis and machine learning.
  • Ensure the IAM security, Availability, and reliability of GCP cloud platform.
  • Work with customer on modernization and develop migration strategy for Google cloud.
  • Responsible for analyzing the on-prem application/data landscape and designing the solution for Cloud migration.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to the engineering team for the migration.
  • Provide consultation on data modeling, hierarchy management, data flows and integration.
  • Customer engagement with strong communication, presentation, and articulation skills.

Your Profile 
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
  • Deep experience in GCP cloud platform
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Unix shell scripting,R Or Go.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with VPCs, VPNs, and firewall configurations on GCP.
  • Experience in creating, configuring, and maintaining Infrastructure on GCP Cloud services, including VM, Resource Groups, Networking, SubNet, VNet, Storage, IAM, Security and Load Balancer.
  • Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
  •  Ingestion tool evaluation such as QLIK replicate, Data Fusion, SAP Datasphere.

Good to have:
  • Experienced in GCP services and architecture.
  • Understanding of the current state of Data warehousing, Analytics, ETL, ELT, Data governance, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models.
  • Scripting skills e.g. Bash/Shell, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Java, JavaScript.
  • Experience building data pipelines and ETL frameworks both batch and real time using Python or Java and any of the GCP capabilities such Apache Beam, Data Flow, Data Fusion.
  • Experience working with Big Data Technologies (Spark, Cloud SQL, Big Query) preferably in an Enterprise environment.
