The Role
As a Functional Business Analyst, you will join our Screening team providing support to our Client. The team, work in a high profile, mission critical environment within a Banking Environment.
In this role, you will work with a team built on collaboration, communication, focus & motivated to delivering excellent service & support. Our team is responsible for troubleshooting incidents, both proactive and reactive in nature.
Key responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to understand and analyse business processes and user needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for developers and technical teams.
- Work closely with project managers, software developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and propose solutions to enhance business processes and systems.
- Must Analyze the data using SQL, Data Modeling, Data Dictionary Concepts.
- Participate in system testing and validation to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the defined requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to end users during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Assist in the creation of user documentation, training materials, and user acceptance testing scenarios.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in functional analysis and business process improvement.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience: - Extensive proven experience as a Functional Analyst or a similar role.
- Experience in Stakeholder Management.
- Good coordination and Planning skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements using techniques like use cases, user stories, and process flows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
