The Role
As a Functional Business Analyst, you will join our Screening team providing support to our Client. The team, work in a high profile, mission critical environment within a Banking Environment. 
In this role, you will work with a team built on collaboration, communication, focus & motivated to delivering excellent service & support. Our team is responsible for troubleshooting incidents, both proactive and reactive in nature.  

Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to understand and analyse business processes and user needs.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for developers and technical teams.
  • Work closely with project managers, software developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and propose solutions to enhance business processes and systems.
  • Participate in system testing and validation to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the defined requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance to end users during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
  • Assist in the creation of user documentation, training materials, and user acceptance testing scenarios.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in functional analysis and business process improvement.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Extensive proven experience as a Functional Analyst or a similar role.
  • Experience in Stakeholder Management.
  • Good coordination and Planning skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements using techniques like use cases, user stories, and process flows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
