The Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will join our Screening team working in a high profile, mission critical environment within a Banking Environment, being responsible for troubleshooting incidents, both proactive and reactive in nature. In this role, you will work with a team built on collaboration, communication, focus & motivated to delivering excellent service & support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions to support our applications and services.
  • Monitor and maintain the availability, performance, and security of our systems and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure, network, and software performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and performance bottlenecks and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of infrastructure components.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency using scripting and configuration management tools.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering.
  • Create SLO, SLI and Error Budget targets for our applications.
  • Create / Develop/Enhance robust monitoring framework and dashboards for our applications.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Extensive proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience in Stakeholder Management.
  • Good coordination and Planning skills.
  • Experience in Environment / Server Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Able to create dashboards with Grafana.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
