The RoleAs a Site Reliability Engineer, you will join our Screening team working in a high profile, mission critical environment within a Banking Environment, being responsible for troubleshooting incidents, both proactive and reactive in nature. In this role, you will work with a team built on collaboration, communication, focus & motivated to delivering excellent service & support. Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions to support our applications and services.
- Monitor and maintain the availability, performance, and security of our systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure, network, and software performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and performance bottlenecks and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of infrastructure components.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering.
- Create SLO, SLI and Error Budget targets for our applications.
- Create / Develop/Enhance robust monitoring framework and dashboards for our applications.
Your ProfileKey skills/knowledge/experience: - Extensive proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience in Stakeholder Management.
- Good coordination and Planning skills.
- Experience in Environment / Server Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking protocols.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Able to create dashboards with Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
