The Role
This role involves working with High Performing Agile teams in enabling a large financial Institution to execute on their Cloud\Data journey, reinventing core functionality on Legacy infrastructure and developing Batch ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server and SSIS ensuring all related data pipelines meets best-in-class standards offering high performance.
Key responsibilities: - Develop Solutions to enable our client to migrate data from from “Golden” sources and deliver data to various consumers such as Product Underwriting, Financial Actuarial systems, and CDO strategic platforms to meet requirements for business data processing, Data Analytics, Reporting and Machine Learning.
- Help with Data Modernization strategy migrating legacy Data Warehouses to Cloud
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions as part of a Scaled Agile team
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience: - Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
- Skilled at optimizing complex/long running SQL queries
- Extensive experience implementing database systems, with at least 3 years using MS SQL, data modeling, including an understanding of all normalized forms, design and development of stored procedures, views and triggers
- Proven experience with developing Batch ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server and SSIS ensuring all related data pipelines meets best-in-class standards offering high performance
- Extensive experience in designing and building complete data pipelines, moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging, Data Warehousing and Data Marts using SQL Server Integration Services (ETL) or other related technologies.
- Strong experience Implementing Data Warehouse solutions (Star Schema, Snowflake schema) for reporting and analytical applications using SQL Server and SSIS, or other related technologies.
- Extensive experience with large-scale data processing and query optimization techniques using TSQL.
- Solid experience with implementing audit, balance, and control mechanism in data solutions.
