What we need:            
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Control & Automation Engineer.      
Key Responsibilities:  
We are looking for a Commissioning Control & Automation Engineer who has strong experience in the
preparation, configuration, installation and commissioning of projects.     
  • Requirement Understanding, Design & development of control systems, plant engineering, Control & Automation site support.
  • Preparation, configuration, installation and commissioning of projects on (Allen Bradly platform) customer premises adhering to site specific requirements and processes.
  • PLC (Rockwell Control Logix), SCADA/HMI (FactoryTalk View SE), Testing & commissioning.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance and support on technical issues ensuring the timely management of issues.
  • Support the machine commissioning activities in collaboration with the commissioning team to a successful FAT & SAT.
  • Onsite support for PLC and online debugging, FAT, SAT, controls and automation related troubleshooting, code modifications in PLCs & HMIs, Onshore coordination with engineering team.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of all control systems including lasers, barcodes readers, RFiDs and networks.
  • Communicate accurate project status to the project leads enabling pro-actively planning.
  • Project specific documentation creation, Users & Operators Training.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required.

Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:  
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of configuration & development & testing of PLC & HMI automation equipment in Allen Bradley/Rockwell systems specifically Control Logix PLC, FactoryTalk View HMI, PLC-HMI integration, Industrial communications like EtherNET/IP, DeviceNET, ControlNET Profinet etc. based on User requirement or Control philosophy.
  • Good experience on Vision system Like Cognex for integration with the PLC and coding in the PLC related to Vision system.
  • Awareness with standards like ISA-95, ISA-88, PLC code optimization technique.
  • Strong experience on application set up, installation, configurations & testing, application Upgrades & Migrations and Virtual environments.
  • Ability to work with Automation engineering group to develop solutions for line run ability issues.
  • Must have very good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong experience of working within a multi–skilled environment (i.e. knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components including motors, servos, vision systems, Robots), Plant engineering and Control system integration.
  • Experience being the onsite coordinator, need to work with a team of 4-5 onsite.
  • B.E./B. Tech./MCA (Instrumentation and Control System).

Good to have
  • Experience with an industrial manufacturing facility. 
  • Knowledge of Molding machines, its configuration.
  • Experience Siemens S7, Siemens/CTi APT PLC, Wonderware Intouch, System Platform would be added advantage.
