The successful candidates will work as part of Enterprise Architect team in large Utilities company which is involved in transformation project for its Networks business. IT would be fast paced multi-vendor environment where there would be more than 1 project in progress at a time.  The company is mainly focused on MS Azure as cloud infrastructure, SAP as their backend.

The Role
  • Support and deliver capabilities in Azure PaaS & Serverless.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders’ architecture and applications development team to define solution/ technical architecture.
  • Evaluate new technology/ platform for suitability into landscape.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and improvements to the technical landscape that could deliver greater business value.
  • Liaise with IT support teams where required.
  • Provide solutions and communicate effectively to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Participate and contribute to the Scaled Agile process.
  • Contributing to technical and architectural on .NET/.NET Core, Azure based solutions.
  • Conduct option analysis and Position paper to aid decision making for stakeholders.
  • Deliver project/application architecture as per client’s EA standards.
  • Collaborate with EA architects and contributing to reference architecture.
  • Provide SME level guidance on Azure, and Identity Management OIDC, OAuth2.0, web security.
  • Design solutions with integration capability in the hybrid environment.

Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge:
  • NET/ .NET Core and Azure (PaaS, serverless, storages, networking, security related services etc.).
  • Experience of Azure Architecture including Azure APIM, Azure Functions, AppService, Logic Apps, service bus, event grid, event hub, etc).
  • REST API, OData.
  • Identity Management, OIDC, OAuth2.0, Azure AD, B2C.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • Web security-based practices for public facing applications. 
  • SAP integration ideally with a utility background (MCFU, Netweaver).
Experience required:
  • In-depth extensive experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven background as a Solution Architect.
  • Experience in designing solution on Azure with scalability, reliability, security etc.
  • Working in a multi-vendor customer environment.
  • Experience in designing solutions, integrating with SAP ERP.
  • Architecting experience for multiple channels – Web & Mobile.
  • Ability to build integration solution architecture based on EA standards.
  • Experience in Agile/ SCRUM.
  • Knowledge of developing architectural artefacts using C4 Models.
  • Independent researching, solution finding, analysis and problem-solving skills and capabilities.
  • Experience evaluating new technology/ platform for suitability into landscape.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Power Automate & Power App.
  • Microsoft Azure Architect Certification.
  • Utility experience.
  • Understanding of SAP solutions.
