The Role
As Google Cloud Architect, you will be at the centre of GCP Cloud Armour WAF / Network Security Engineer focusing on GCP Firewall Risk Governance, GCP VPC Service Control Review, Technical Architecture Reviews of Network Components, and Risk-Assessing Network Interfaces and Network Zoning Diagrams.
  • Participate in daily scrums and planning meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with and provide technical and professional advice to Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, and Lead Engineers on Guardrails.
  • Build a strong repo and maintain a strong relationship with clients.
  • Build strong repo with vendors to drive the requirements.
  • Analyse and optimise technical and business processes.

Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge: 
  • Deep understanding of all GCP services and knowledge of best practices in securing GCP services.
  • Ability to perform risk analysis of GCP service usage and the risk mitigation options.
  • Understanding of Cloud control plane implementation.
  • Deep understanding of Guardrails enforcement options in Cloud environment.
  • Ability to translate identified Security, Regulatory and compliance requirements to Guardrails. i.e., GCP Native, TF Sentinel, Prisma CSPM.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and lead discussions.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Security Engineering, Network and System terminology.
  • Solid understanding of risk assessment, regulatory standards, vulnerability etc.
Experience required:
  • Extensive experience in cyber security.
  • Strong experience with Cloud security with a solid experience with Google Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience in identifying security requirements in Cloud environment.
  • Hands-on extensive GCP Cloud Security experience in a large enterprise.
  • Proven experience with all major GCP service security and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with identification of security requirements and guardrails enforcement to address security requirements for GCP services.
  • Experience preparing service security requirement and risk analysis documentation.
  • Hands-on experience managing and provisioning the cloud solution infrastructure.
  • Experience with Terraform, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and Sentinel.
Good to have:
  • Experience in data networking.
  • Experience or familiarity in web application firewall.
