The post is a Temporary post on a Type B Contract, with a commitment of 37 hours Tallaght University Hospital.

Clinical responsibilities include reporting of radiographic and cross-sectional imaging, participation in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement and audit. The provision of on-call diagnostic radiology service is also required.

TUH is an academic teaching hospital with obligations for the teaching of trainee radiologists and medical students.

Please Note:
The Minister for Health has confirmed the Government Policy regarding the introduction of the new Sláintecare Consultant Contract as provided for in the Programme for Government.
The Sláintecare Consultant Contract will provide for Public only work in public hospitals. The new Sláintecare Consultant Contract 2021 will be applicable to all new and replacement Consultant Contracts issued after the implementation date.
Please note that the HSE has yet to receive confirmation of the implementation date for the Sláintecare Consultant Contract.”

Expenses: Tallaght University Hospital will not be liable for travelling or other expenses incurred by applicants who may be required to attend for interview(s).
Amendments to Curriculum Vitae: Amendments / addendums to Curriculum Vitae are not accepted once the Short-listing meeting has taken place.  Addendums are not accepted at Interview.  Short-listed candidates will be invited at Interview to update the Selection Committee on any changes to Curriculum Vitae since submission.
