They build strong relationships with project sponsors and subject matter experts to identify the training need. They use evidence-based learning strategies to design meaningful learning experiences for the target audience of learners.

The successful candidate will join our team of instructional designers to design high-quality eLearning materials for clients across a broad range of industries. You will listen actively, question with empathy, write persuasively, and convey solutions with conviction. You will apply creative solutions to translate source content into engaging units of learning.

Based in our Limerick office, you will work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, graphic designers, and eLearning media developers across distributed locations.

The role involves:
  • Building relationships with project sponsors and subject matter experts.
  • Analysing source content and translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand content.
  • Writing engaging scripts and storyboards in collaboration with subject matter experts and in-house graphic designers.
  • Performing onscreen reviews of training materials to ensure the content developed is of a high standard, technically accurate, and consistent with the relevant client’s standards.
  • Communicating edits to graphic designers and eLearning media developers.
  • Regularly researching learning theory and methods to keep up-to-date with industry standards.

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Communication, eLearning, Interactive Digital Media, or Multimedia.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and/or adult learning theory.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
