We are looking for a Director of Sales to take the lead in driving revenue growth and executing sales strategies for Intuition’s ‘Know-How’ content library across North America. Based in New York and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, North America, the Director, 'Know-How' Sales will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities within the region, creating a book of business, managing clients, and growing strategic relationships. This role will cover the full range of deliverables including market research, consulting with clients, solution selling, and working with both internal and external partners to ensure success.
The successful candidate will have strong sales credentials with a proven track record of success in dynamic sales environments. They will be a highly driven self-starter with an aptitude for innovation and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Excellent client-facing and communication skills are essential.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities in our vertical markets.
  • Leading and driving engagement strategies with clients.
  • Solution selling, pricing, and closing deals with our range of products, specifically financial skills, cybersecurity, business skills, e-learning, and classroom-based products.
  • Generating new business and managing existing business within ‘Know-How’ sales but also other lines of business.
  • Using existing contacts within the industry to concentrate on business development and raising the profile of the company in the region.
  • Evaluating competition, analyzing the market, and thinking laterally to target opportunities for global growth.
  • Building relationships with senior managers in some of the world’s largest corporate institutions.
  • Working to understand and solve real-world business problems for our clients by following a consultative and solution-based sales process.
  • Working closely with the sales support and account management teams.
  • Liaising with senior management to define opportunities and optimize solutions.
  • Achieving personal sales targets.
  • Overseeing the continuing development, performance, and profitability of accounts.
  • Building an understanding of industry trends and themes.
  • Deepening relationships with existing clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • An exemplary client service ethic.
  • A positive “can-do” attitude and a friendly, personable manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and proactively take ownership of responsibilities.
