We are looking for a high-performing Tactical Sales Manager & AVP to play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for Intuition’s Financial Markets business in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Sales Manager and VP, the Tactical Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new trends and sales opportunities within the region, growing strategic relationships, and utilizing commercial acumen to define and maximize opportunities. This role will cover the full range of deliverables including market research, consulting with clients, solution selling, and working with both internal and external partners to ensure success. For clarity, tactical sales are themed content or product orientated solutions and are limited duration, campaign-based initiatives. The campaign will be planned and executed by this hire, and this involves sales funnel and marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong sales credentials with a proven track record of success in dynamic sales environments. They will be a highly driven self-starter with an aptitude for innovation and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Excellent client-facing and communication skills are essential. This role would suit someone with international experience having worked, studied, or lived outside of Singapore.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Executing specific sales campaigns. For the near future, these are likely to be Sustainable Finance, Digital Transformation, Technology in Financial Services and Talent Management.
  • Developing inside wallets from our existing client base, based on the specific sales campaigns.
  • Managing our new activities, on the ground, in India remotely from Singapore.
  • Solution selling, pricing, and closing deals with our range of products specifically financial and business skills, delivered by combinations of e-learning, simulations, technology products., and instructor -based services.
  • Generating new business and meeting sales targets.
  • Evaluating competition, analysing the market, and thinking laterally to target opportunities for growth in APAC.
  • Liaising with senior management to define opportunities and optimise solutions. This role requires a close working relationship with the VP and EVP, offering excellent career progression.
  • Utilizing commercial acumen to define and maximize opportunities.
What You’ll Not Be Doing:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Be a hunter, door-opener, and cold caller.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in solution selling to the financial markets sector.
  • Experience in selling digital, learning or technology products.  
  • Exceptional personal drive and an interest in developing and pushing boundaries to introduce products and services to our clients to build revenue.
  • Ability to work independently to meet and exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proven success in building cross-functional and external relationships.
  • Ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously, at a fast pace and to tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to produce and analyse reports to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
