Intuition is looking for a talented financial writer to join its Editorial team as a Financial Researcher & Editor. 

The successful candidate will be a key member of our Know-How production and product marketing teams. Intuition Know-How is the market leader in financial markets digital learning, with hundreds of clients including the world’s leading banks, asset managers, custodians, accountancy and consultancy firms, and central banks/regulators. The product is used to educate millions of banking and finance professionals across the globe.
Working alongside Intuition’s commercial team, content marketing team, internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) and product design specialists, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of Know-How as we continue to expand the product and enhance the learning experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Learning Editorial Requirements
  • Sourcing and assimilating content on all aspects of banking and financial markets with a view to creating digital learning courses that adhere to a clearly-defined editorial brief
  • Reviewing and validating externally-generated content and liaising with SMEs in relation to any issues identified
  • Undertaking research to assist in product and content development
  • Developing video storyboards to transform text-based content into video-based learning with a view to enhancing the learning experience 
  • Creating graphs, charts, etc. and sourcing media and graphic assets from stock libraries to be used as supporting content assets
  • Inputting content into the in-house authoring tool using the available templates and screen types
  • Performing onscreen reviews of all course elements to ensure the highest standards of quality
  • Handling content-related queries from learners and responding as appropriate
Product Marketing Requirements
  • Working with the content marketing team to develop best-in-class content, in digital and non-digital formats, that builds awareness, inspires customers, drives engagement, and creates community around the product
  • Planning, writing, editing, and publishing content including product launch and release collateral, blogs, landing pages and press releases
  • Assisting the sales and marketing teams in relation to content queries and requests and other client support issues as required
The successful candidate will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Economics discipline or a recognised banking/financial industry qualification
  • At least three years’ experience in a financial writing/editing role or in a role in a financial institution that involved a substantial amount of financial writing/editing
  • A solid understanding of financial markets and products, particularly in the context of investment and commercial banking and/or asset management
  • Top-class writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • A keen eye for design and an appreciation of the challenges associated with developing learning solutions for delivery to clients across multiple platforms
  • Demonstrated success creating innovative content across different channels and formats (podcast and webinar production experience would be advantageous)
  • The ability to think innovatively and creatively, and be able to tailor memorable content within voice and tone guidelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with its various functions and uses in the context of financial markets (desired)
