Reporting into the Technical Services & Client Support Manager, the Junior Technology Project Manager will facilitate the execution of multiple client software projects. Technology Project Managers are responsible for managing cross-functional project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget constraints and to the highest quality standards. This involves ensuring excellent communications within and outside the project team; working to continuously update project scope, status, and documentation; proactively identifying and resolving issues (both technical and business); and, most importantly, ensuring that the experience delivered by the software meets customer needs.

This Role Involves:
  • Determining and documenting customer requirements.
  • Providing clear estimations of feasibility and risks.
  • Managing status, scope, resources and budgets of multiple concurrent software projects.
  • Producing and tracking project budgets and finances.
  • Communicating and reporting on project status to management and clients.
  • Adapting to change and developing risk mitigation plans throughout the project cycle with a view on the profitability of the project.
  • Answering RFPs and project proposals.
  • Consulting with management and business development on client relationship status and business issues.
  • Helping the sales team to identify and close sales opportunities while developing and maintaining a close relationship with the clients.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Project Management
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in technical project delivery.
  • Formal PM qualification highly desirable.
  • Experience working with a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging in size and complexity. Strong budgeting and scheduling skills are essential, along with the ability to project manage a multi-disciplined team and run multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to implement the best practices and project management methodologies appropriate to the project’s scope.
  • E-learning industry experience advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience in responding to RFP/RFIs and creating proposals.
  • Excellent client management experience in understanding and scoping requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
  • You must be highly motivated, able to work fast, and be a team player.
