Role purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be the key finance contact for various departments and will liaise with wider business to ensure integrity of inter-departmental transactions.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation and analysis of forecasting process on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including any re-forecasting necessary
  • Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing relating to recording of costs and sales
  • Liaise with wider business to ensure integrity of inter-departmental transactions
  • Responsible for preparing the annual budget and monthly forecast
  • Able to identify and implement business process improvements and continuously develop management information available to the senior management including CFO and board directors
  • Drive process improvement across the company, including cost saving initiatives and increasing efficiencies
  • Take ownership for Ecommerce/growing marketing P&L participating in the forecasting process on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis including any re-forecasting necessary
  • Update forecast budgetary information and maintain Sales forecast/discounts
  • Provide report information for board pack and monthly reporting deadlines
  • Provide Balance Sheet Reconciliations in line with monthly deadline
  • Provide committed expenditure reports to the CFO and Finance Director monthly
  • Complete slides for the monthly board meeting
