Document Controller - Galway



We are delighted to be growing our construction team with the addition of a Document Controller onsite in Merlin Park, Galway where, as a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for the set up and management of project document control systems and the training / support of project users.  



This is a fully onsite position with no flexibility for remote working. All applicants must be able to commit to working onsite from Monday to Friday.


You will be:
  • Managing Dalux and Aconex as our preferred Common Data Environment (CDE) and Digital Field Tool (DFT) for the lifecycle of the project and manage in line with DPD strategy and Sisk protocols
  • Act as main point of contact for support and coaching of project users of VFP/FV, including third parties such as client teams, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, verifiers, and regulators
  • Development of project file naming protocols with project team, in line with Sisk protocols and ISO19650
  • Validation, checking and curating of all incoming and outgoing project documentation to the CDE including receipt, classification, verification, registry, distribution, and retrieval


You will have:
  • 2+ years of experience working on construction site projects with responsibility for all documentation
  • Experience utilising Dalux & Aconex preferred
  • Advanced experience of a common data environment and Digital Field Tool (CDE / electronic document management system (EDMS)/DFT)
  • Clear working knowledge of BS1192 and/or ISO19650
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite
