Bid Writer


Bidding is a relatively young industry in Ireland and growing fast. Our clients want to know how we can create solutions that help them achieve their goals. Every bid is different and each one challenges us to be responsive, to show how our proposal is the perfect fit for that project.

Bid writing is storytelling for business: persuasion through the power of the written word. A good writer connects with an audience through compelling stories that engage readers emotionally and intellectually. Our company has great stories to tell, and you know how best to tell them.

As a key member of our creative team, you will influence all aspects of what we do. You have the communication skills to work with people at every level of the company and the ambition to reach the top of your profession. 


You will be:
  • Creating high quality proposal documents including coordinating and writing content
  • Editing technical copy to ensure persuasive and client focused material.
  • Ensuring all proposals align with corporate brand guidelines and bid management standards.
  • Reviewing tender requirements and ensuring we answer the question in a compelling way.
  • Integrating company values and vision and culture…
  • Working with our technical experts to devise bespoke responses for tender requests.
  • Interviewing people at all levels of the business to capture how we create value for our clients, for instance: construction methodologies, innovation, digital project delivery, HSE, our people, diversity and inclusion, sustainability.
  • Developing our database of case studies, templates, and CVs
  • Building strong working relationships at all levels

You will have:
  • A Degree in (Marketing, Communications, Journalism)
  • Experience in construction/engineering (desirable but not essential)
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is not required, however understanding of corporate procedures at large is appreciated.
  • MS Office Suite
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (desirable)
