Regional Planning Manager   
Hiring a regional planning manager for Dublin or Cork to lead the planning team with the planning and programming of the design, procurement and construction activities associated with projects in a geographical area. To regularly review the programme and planning management function in the preconstruction and construction phases. To develop regular reports to feedback on progress and performance to the Regional Director.

You will
  • Ensure Planning assumptions and decisions incorporate Sisk’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  •  Review and evaluate the input of Health and Safety Policies and Procedures in the programmes of other Planning Team members.
  • Support the project directors & director in charge in the assessment of the programme risk at prequalification stage – bid or no bid
  • Review the development of the baseline contract programme, covering all aspects of design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
  • Oversee the preparation of a construction (target) programme highlighting areas of improvement against the contract programme
  • Validate the tender event programme for the procurement of subcontractors incorporating design release and lead in activities is correct and achievable!
  • Maintain electronic files and administration of planning and programme documents to facilitate retrieval as required. Utilising the common data environment (CDE).
  • Co-ordinate the development of 4D graphical models for the business, where required or 2D phasing plans.
  • Successful track record of working with clients, contractors and other stakeholders on live construction projects.
  • Have extensive experience of working within a team.
  • Have extensive knowledge of UK and EU legal framework, in particular contract management.

You will have:
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management
  • Certification for use of planning and programme software
  • Membership of relevant professional body, where applicable
  • Advanced Asta Powerproject Training – Progress Analysis & S-curve reporting.
  • Primavera P6 Training Managing People Training
  • Presentation Techniques Training
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of industry best practice
  • Managing costs and resources
