Project Manager - Cork County 

John Sisk & Son are delighted to be growing their team with the addition of Project Manager for the Cork Region.

Key elements of this role will require experience of handling multiple projects o ensure that the projects meet the client expectations, while also looking for opportunities for the company to add additional value or enhance the profit achieved through the delivery of the project. 


You will be:
  • An experienced Project Manager who has considerable and varying project management experinece in Pre Construction, Construction and Post Construction experience, ideally with a  Tier 1 environment. 
  • Excellent at mutitasking with proven track record in handling conflicting deadlines. 
  • Understand, report upon and be able to assess the financial performance of high value projects and contracts. 
  • Lead all aspects of Project Team functions (PEP, Risk & Commercial Success, Financials, Processes, 
    HSEQS, Stakeholder Management, Project Administration, Design Management & Project Close Out)
  • Ensure that the project team and supply chain have the required H&S skills and competencies in their org to meet HSEQS expectations document
  •  Manages, through others, consultant and subcontract design as required by the contract including delivery of the BIM strategy
  • Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan, with specific reference to the HSE & Quality plan.
  • Manage information flow and information required schedule
  • Prepare reports and attend Design Team Progress Meetings


You will have:
  • Good working Knowledge of Design and Build JCT &, NEC3 contracts, as well as with BREEAM/LEED
  • An excess of 5 years’ experience working in the relevant sector or a minimum of 2-3 projects delivered across different industry sectors
  • Demonstrable holistic ‘end to end’ Programme Management experience
  • Analytical and Methodical

  • Hold a Professional qualification in construction related  subject. 
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S management training
