Engineer 

Sisk Strategic Projects is a longstanding service division within the John Sisk & Son business, operating in the Retrofit, Re-purposing and Refurbishment sectors. 

As an engineer you will be working on key frameworks with the likes of DAA, OPW, DCC, DOE, HSE etc. predominantly working in the Dublin, greater Leinster region,with the request to travel wider a field if required/requested by key clients.
 
Majority of works are live operational environments, so experience in delivering this type of Retrofit, Fit-out, Re-purposing and Refurbishment works is an advantage.  The ideal candidate is someone who has 5 years post grad experience, looking to further their career. 


You will be:
  • Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and site surveys.
  • Checking materials and works in progress for compliance with the specified requirements, whilst observing the Sisk Q10.
  • Liaising with project planners regarding construction programmes and supplier outlets.
  • Inputing into specific elements of the Inspection and Test Plans, and ensures that our supply chain provide test data to back up the contract technical requirements
  • Setting up drawing register and ensures that the Sub-contractor is using the latest version of the contract record drawings & specifications, whilst ensuring that they are technically coordinated.

You will have:
  • At least 5 years post qualification experience with good knowledge of the sector or experience in a project-based organisation.
  • Articulate and numerate, capable of delivering reports verbally and written in an objective and persuasive manner.
  • Can demonstrate initiative and resilience.
  • Displays good interpersonal and communication skills and acts in an independent and professional manner.
